With a score of 18/20 in Gault&Millau in 2026, the title of "Rising Star of the Year" in Romandy in 2019 and 2026, and a Michelin star in 2024 (for his other restaurant, L'Aparté), Chef Armel Bedouet of Le Bistro is on the rise. Currently located near Bogie's Bar, Le Bistro remains true to its label as a French Brasserie: a neighborhood restaurant known for its generous and flavorful cuisine.
Chef Armel Bedouet left his native Brittany animated by a passion for authentic cuisine. After developing his talent in several prestigious establishments in France, including Lameloise, rated 18/20 by the Gault&Millau guide and three-star Michelin, he then moved to Geneva and joined the brigade of Dominique Gauthier at Le Chat Botté in 2001. Restaurant which has a rating of 18/20 at the G&M and one-star Michelin. Since 2008, he is in charge of the kitchens of the Hotel Royal restaurants, part of the Manotel Group, including L’Aparté, which was awarded a rating of 18/20 for the 2026 G&M guide and one-star Michelin in 2024. For the 2019 G&M, and again in the 2026 guide, Armel Bedouet received the “Promu de l’année” distinction.
